Kit Features:

• Delta Flight Frame: Lightweight and robust, this frame acts as the structural backbone for all flight hardware. Designed to rival carbon fiber in strength at a fraction of the cost, it provides a stable platform for high-quality video and payload mounting.

• SPOT Gen 3/4 Bracket

• 3D Printed Camera Platform: Securely mounts cameras using a ¼”-20 screw, keeping your imaging system steady and perfectly oriented for clear, cinematic footage during ascent and descent.

• Kaymont Weather Balloon: High-quality balloons engineered for record-breaking altitudes. Choose any size in our inventory. Balloons 600 g and larger are ideal for missions exceeding 100,000 ft.

• Rocketman 3 ft Parachute: In-house designed for HAB missions, this parachute features a 4-line configuration to minimize tangling, oscillation, or spinning. Includes a top loop for secure shock cord attachment to the balloon base, ensuring a stable descent.

• 4 ft Three-Point Recovery Harness: Keeps the payload level and stable throughout flight, reducing rocking and ensuring smooth video capture.

• Dual 12 ft Spectra Shock Cords:

  • First cord: Connects the balloon to the parachute top loop, maintaining separation at burst.

  • Second cord: Connects the parachute bridal to the payload, preventing interference with canopy inflation.

• Weather Balloon Inflator: Safely inflates balloons with a regulator reducing helium from 3,000 psi to 80 psi. Built-in filter prevents contamination. Includes a 5 ft kink-resistant air hose rated from -40 °F to 140 °F.

• Weather Balloon Filling Anchor: Spiral ground anchor keeps the balloon secure during inflation. Rope slides directly over the inflator neck for stable and safe filling.

• 3D Printed Tracker Platform: Securely mounts trackers such as SPOT GPS Gen 3/4 or SPOT Trace using zip ties for reliable tracking.

• Payload Platform: Hard maple wood platform (⅛” × 3” × 24”) for mounting cameras, sensors, or auxiliary payloads. Provides a stable base for capturing imagery or supporting additional systems.
