Rocketman Disk Gap Band Parachutes are compact, lightweight recovery chutes designed to deliver an excellent balance of drag, stability, and low packing volume.
Also known as a Mars Chute, the disk gap band design was originally developed for use in the Martian atmosphere and tested under supersonic conditions. The open gap between the gores and skirt allows controlled airflow through the canopy, helping prevent asymmetric flow separation and reducing parachute oscillation during descent.
Built with a simple, efficient layout, these parachutes are ideal for applications where stable recovery and compact packing are critical.
