In recent years, demand for our parachutes has increased dramatically, driven by the proven reliability of our deployment systems and the exceptional success rates achieved across thousands of flights. Choosing the right parachute can be challenging, especially with the many shapes and configurations available today. Every Rocketman parachute is manufactured entirely in-house and engineered for maximum strength, durability, and consistency. Our designs are trusted by hobbyists, students, research teams, and professional aerospace groups around the world.

The two primary parachute families we recommend for most applications are:

• High/Mid/Low Power Rocketry Parachutes (Standard)

• High-Performance Chutes (HPC)

Standard Chutes are simple, durable, and highly stable. Built with reinforced construction and a four-line design, they pack relatively small and offer dependable performance. Their drag coefficient (Cd) is lower than that of our performance series, making them ideal for general-purpose recovery where packing volume is not severely limited.

For rockets requiring extremely tight packing volumes or optimized descent rates, our High-Performance Chutes (HPC) are the preferred solution. These canopies pack significantly smaller, weigh less, and deliver a Cd of 2.2—the highest size-to-Cd ratio of any parachute ever produced. This makes the HPC series exceptionally efficient for rockets where aerodynamic performance and space constraints are mission critical.

If an even smaller or lighter option is needed, we also manufacture Ultra-Light HPC models constructed from 0.66 oz ripstop fabric and Spectra suspension lines, offering the smallest packing volume possible while maintaining structural integrity and reliability.
