Ky Michaelson, "The ROCKETMAN"

My friends have called me "The ROCKETMAN" for over 30 years. Since the 60's, I've designed and built rockets, rocket powered cars, boats, snowmobiles, go-carts and even a rocket powered backpack. For 12 years I built various vehicles that set over 72 state, national and international speed records. In 1969, I formed a company called HOLLYWOOD STUNTMASTERS to design and manufacture stunt equipment and special effects for the film industry. Not long after that I became a stuntman myself.

In February of 1995, my wife Jodi and I formed ROCKETMAN Enterprises, a company to manufacture and distribute the most advanced high powered rocket recovery systems ever designed. The wide-spread success of our chutes has led to a new chapter in the ROCKETMAN saga. We have expanded our operations and are proud to introduce the development of our Hi-TEK Missile product line of high powered model rocket kits.

The 1996-97 Rocket season promises to be an exciting one. ROCKETMAN Enterprises will continue to push the limits of high powered rocket design with imaginative and innovative ideas.

The ROCKETMAN will bring you a whole new dimension of high powered rocketry.

Ky's Great Uncle set a bicycle jump record of over 50 ft. from a ski jump in 1905	The "Michaelson Mpls" motorcycles of 1905-1915. Held 1st patent on clutch & transmission, plus other unique features still found on todays motorcycles.	A daring man named Rodman Law attempted to launch himself in a self made rocket in ealry 1900. This story was Ky's inspiration and sparked his love of rocketry.
Ky wingwalking on Joe Hughes' "Super Steerman" airplane, before he could afford to fly 1st class. For thrills, It beat rollercoasters too.	Ky & Robbie Knievel will team up in the near future to revive the Snake River jump Robbie's father tried.
